Meet The Etiquette Trainer
Summer Salazar, MS
Summer received her etiquette certification through The Etiquette Institute where she now serves as an Associate Trainer for the Certification Program. Additionally, she is actively engaged in professional associations such as the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Employers (SoACE), where she currently serves as President of the 15-state region. Whether it's refining business etiquette, enhancing social interactions, or mastering dining decorum, Summer is your go-to expert for cultivating a polished and professional presence in any situation.
Summer is dedicated to empowering young professionals and organizations with the skills and confidence needed to navigate various professional and social settings. She is recognized as a leader in higher education and an expert in the field of career services and etiquette training. She currently serves as the Director of Employer Engagement for Texas Career Engagement at the University of Texas at Austin where she provides strategic direction for local, regional, and global employer engagement initiatives, working collaboratively with her team to expand internship and employment opportunities for students and alumni. She is instrumental in leading discussions on current and future trends in university recruiting and spearheaded the creation of Hook Talent EDU, an employer development program focused on helping employers maximize their recruiting strategies at UT Austin and beyond.

Summer holds an M.S. degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Organization, Workforce, and Leadership Studies from Texas State University, as well as a B.A. degree in English and Communication Arts from St. Mary’s University.
